To know what the thought "God" intimates, that one thought is God must undergoe a death. The death of what one thought about God is one with the birthing of that God as God is, or God beyond God, and this may well entail that one will come to see the thought "God" has lost most of its power for oneself, if not all of its power. For one discovers that "God" intimates is very little like to that one sees and feels birthed in oneself as the resurrection of God. In this sense, we can say, the loss of God is the discovery of God, or possibly better the being discovered by God.

True meditation has no direction or goal. It is pure wordless surrender, pure silent prayer. All methods aiming at achieving a certain state of mind are limited, impermanent, and conditioned. Fascination with states leads only to bondage and dependency. True meditation is abidance as primordial awareness.
